ScanQuick: PDF Scanner & OCR — Last updated: May 17, 2026
MIDAS DIGITAL LAB, MChJ ("we", "us", "our") operates the ScanQuick mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Your document content stays on your device. All document scanning, OCR text extraction, image processing, and file conversion happen locally — we never upload, transmit, or store the contents of your scans on our servers.
To operate the app and improve marketing of it, we collect a limited set of non-content data described in Sections 5 and 6 below (subscription events and, with your permission, marketing-attribution identifiers).
The following data is stored locally on your device using the app's sandboxed storage and is never sent to us:
You can delete all app data at any time through the app's settings or by uninstalling the app.
ScanQuick requests access to your device's camera to scan documents and to your photo library to import images. These permissions are used solely for scanning and importing — captured images are processed and stored locally on your device. No images are uploaded to any server.
If you choose to enable Google Drive sync, the app will:
drive.file scope)Your Google authentication token is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your Google account credentials or any files outside the ScanQuick folder. Google's use of your data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
ScanQuick offers optional paid subscriptions (monthly and yearly) processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We use RevenueCat as a subscription management service to:
RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier and subscription transaction data from Apple. It does not receive your name, email, or any document content. For details, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
We do not process any payment information directly. All billing is handled by Apple. See Apple's Privacy Policy for details.
To understand how users discover ScanQuick and to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, the app uses AppsFlyer, a mobile measurement and attribution platform. AppsFlyer helps us answer questions like "did this user come from a specific ad campaign?" and "is our app growing organically or through paid channels?".
The following information is shared with AppsFlyer:
AppsFlyer does not receive your name, email, document content, OCR text, or scanned images. You control whether IDFA is shared via the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt that appears on first launch (and can be changed any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
For details on how AppsFlyer handles this data, see AppsFlyer's Services Privacy Policy.
Apple Search Ads attribution is processed automatically by Apple's AdServices framework and forwarded to AppsFlyer; it does not require additional consent beyond ATT.
ScanQuick is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app is not configured to collect attribution data from users identified as children.
Since your document content remains on your device, security depends on your device's own protections (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID). ScanQuick also offers an optional PIN lock feature for additional in-app protection. We recommend keeping your device software up to date. Data sent to RevenueCat and AppsFlyer is transmitted over HTTPS.
The app integrates the following third-party services:
No advertising SDKs, no in-app ads, and no third-party tracking pixels for advertising purposes are embedded in the app beyond the attribution services listed above.
You have the following controls:
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
